Your wedding day, painted by hand in oil — not printed, not filtered.
You spent a year planning one day, and it went by in a blur. What's left is a folder of photographs on a phone.
I take one of them — or several — and paint it in oil on canvas, by hand. Not a print. Not a filter. An actual painting that will outlast every device those photos are currently sitting on.
I've painted couples in snow, on beaches, under floral arches, on grand staircases, and in the middle of quiet forests. Every one of them started as somebody's ordinary photo.

NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR PHOTO?
Send it to me. I'll tell you free.
Blurry, old, low-resolution, taken on a flip phone — I've painted from worse than you think. Leave your email and I'll reply so you can send it over. I'll look at it myself and tell you honestly whether it'll paint well, before you spend anything.
No commitment, no charge. I answer these myself, usually same day.

I can fix what the camera got wrong.
A photograph is a record of one two-hundredth of a second. A painting isn't.
If your veil blew across your face, I can move it. If your uncle wandered into the background, he doesn't have to be there. If the venue lighting turned everyone orange, I paint the light the way your eyes remember it, not the way the sensor recorded it.
One client asked me to fix the back of her husband's suit jacket, which had bunched up at the exact moment the shutter fired. She told me afterward that the painting came out better than the original photo. That's not a coincidence — it's the whole point.
Tell me what's wrong with the photo. I'll paint the day you actually had.
Photos from different moments, one painting.
Wedding photos are scattered by nature — the ceremony shot has the right light, the reception shot has the right expressions, and the one good photo of you together has someone's elbow in it.
I can combine them. Faces from one frame, the dress from another, the venue from a third.
This also means I can paint people who weren't in the photograph at all. A grandparent who couldn't travel. A parent who didn't live to see the day. If you send me a separate photo of them, I can paint them into the scene.
These come up more often than you'd think, and they're some of the pieces I'm most careful with.

When to order
Most portraits ship about four weeks after you approve the mockup, and I guarantee within five.
If you're ordering for a first anniversary, start about six weeks out. If it's a wedding gift for someone else, you'll need their photos first — which usually means waiting until their photographer delivers, roughly four to eight weeks after the wedding.
There's no rush on your end. You order first, and I email you a link to send photos whenever you have them.
From couples I've painted for
"The painting far exceeded my expectations and beautifully captured the magic of our wedding day. Everyone who sees it is amazed, and I would absolutely choose this artist again."
— Fiona, Feb 2026
"I asked him to fix the back of my husband's suit in the painting, and it came out better than our actual wedding photo."
— Chrissy, Mar 2025
"It can be scary to trust that an item you're paying a significant amount of money for will arrive as advertised, but WOW, if there was a higher rating than 10/10 I would give that to this artist."
— Courtney, Oct 2025

Wedding portrait questions
Can you paint from a phone photo?
Yes. I've painted from photos far worse than you think yours is. One client apologized for her photo quality and the detail still came out sharp — I'm reading the shapes and light, not copying pixels.
Can you combine several wedding photos into one painting?
Yes, and it's common. Send everything you've got and tell me what you want from each one.
Can you add someone who wasn't in the photo?
Yes. Send a separate photo of them and I'll paint them into the scene.
What if I don't like it?
You approve a mockup before I paint anything. Don't like the mockup — full refund, no questions. After that, I send photos of the finished painting and revise until it's right, before it ships.
Do you paint the whole wedding party?
Up to 20 subjects. Pricing goes up per person, and I'd recommend 24 × 30 in or a custom size for anything past six or seven people.
Send me your wedding photos.
Order first. No photo needed yet — I'll email you a link.
